It is designed both for App and website versions to help parents who are troubled by the arrangement of career and traffic problems conflicting with the picking up schedule at school. The main features are carpool, sharing information, and encouraging parents to be volunteers joining activities with their kids in school.

Investigation

The team starts to find out the users' pain points and the main impulse to use this App. It is developed from a very simple interface tool to a mature and user-friendly  App with lots of complicated functions, we use MVP - minimum viable product - concept to do iterating for this design based on feedback and experimental result.

Base on the streamline of users' requirements, we set up the proposal for target users and start to do an investigation. We enumerated the individual fields and broke down them into small pieces to deal with in the logical method. We designed the main features of this tool base on statistics of the analyzed result.

Lastly, a special thanks to Michelle Wang with a background in marketing, she shared a scientific consultant for the investigation.

Brainstorm / Draft

It was the first starting to create the draft or record the brainstorming drawing based on the investigation of the project. Most important was setting up the main features and the interface design at the beginning. I gave myself a note to record every unrestrained detail and concentrated them together for different functions. And later, it was necessary to do modifications after accepting feedback from collaborators to improve the design.

Main Logo Design

I designed the logo and icon which were relative with intuited aesthetic concept. The fundamental keynote was the yellow-dish green, two circles was meaning the sites between school and home, yet the main outline shape of a stroller for kids. The main page's icon was matching the colors from Logo, the other icons were straightforward shapes from their functions.  In the process, I developed from old version to new version, changing their visual design to be more attractive and reasonable.
